About the Author

The life of author Christine Paxmann, born in 1961, revolves around books: she writes, illustrates, and conceptualizes anything that piques her interest and might fit between two covers, and has done so for over twenty-five years. Children, cooking, and art – and books for and about them – are her main passions. She has augmented these with the occasional novel and gift book as well as many reviews. But the menu is only completed by her son and four-legged friend, with whom she commutes between Munich and the foothills of the Alps.

Anne Ibelings is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Dresden, Germany.
