Artifice, a new publishing house that originated from the Black Dog Publishing, is committed to publishing titles that propel thinking in architecture and its related disciplines including urban design, planning and landscape design, and architectural history, theory and criticism. Artifice is also distributing Black Dog Publishing's architecture books, and together has a combined list of more than 100 active titles.
In 2012, for the second time, a project published by Artifice has won the highly prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize. Artifice is particularly proud of their theoretical publications by most prestigious authors. They also continue to present the international scope of contemporary architecture with books on architecture firms, buildings and practitioners based and practicing worldwide.
