About the Author

Christopher Hutton studied linguistics at the University of Oxford and Columbia University in New York. He has taught Yiddish Studies at the University of Texas in Austin and general and English linguistics in Hong Kong. He is the author of The "Type-token Relation in Linguistics Theory and Linguistics and the Third Reich".

Kingsley Bolton is Chair Professor of English and Head of the English Department at City University of Hong Kong.
